The Stentor SR1865A from the Handmade Pro series "Messina" is a fully handcrafted 4/4 violin for advanced players seeking a traditionally built instrument with a mature tone. Meticulously finished in England, this violin features a select solid spruce top, solid maple sides, and a beautifully flamed solid maple back. The traditional shellac finish provides an open, natural tone. The combination of a solid maple neck and ebony fingerboard and tuners guarantees a stable and comfortable playing experience.
Pirastro strings guarantee a warm, expressive tone and excellent response. The violin features a decorative edge finish and a sturdy chin piece for a classic look and playing comfort. This set is designed for serious violinists who prefer a pure instrument without accessories. Bow and case are available separately.
