The Stentor SR1550A is a 4/4 violin from the Conservatoire I series, built for advancing students and serious amateurs who expect more from their instrument. The violin is entirely handcrafted with a solid spruce top, solid maple sides, and a beautifully flamed solid maple back. The Shellax™ finish protects the wood and provides a warm, classic appearance. The fingerboard, tuners, and frog are made of high-quality ebony for maximum control and durability while playing.
The violin features synthetic gut strings that produce a warm, balanced tone. The lightweight metal tailpiece with four fine tuners allows for quick and accurate tuning. The included high-quality wooden bow is made with genuine horsehair and a carefully finished ebony frog. The luxurious case offers optimal protection with a fabric lining, shape padding, hygrometer, music pocket, and comfortable shoulder straps.
