The Stentor SR1400K2 is the smallest violin in the Student I series and is specially designed for the youngest children who want to start playing the violin. It features a solid spruce top, solid maple sides, and a solid back. This sturdy wood construction produces a bright, balanced tone that is pleasant for young beginners. The fingerboard is made of black-stained hardwood, and the pegs and chin piece are made of dark hardwood for stable tuning and comfortable play.
The set comes complete with a Brazilwood bow with genuine horsehair and an ebony frog. The sturdy, lightweight case features a blue fabric lining, a music compartment, reflectors, and shoulder straps – practical and safe for travel.
